Bike To Work & School 2016

Friday, May 20, 2016, 7:00am to 10:00am


Join hundreds of people in Tompkins County biking to work for National Bike to Work and School Day on Friday May 20th. 

Enjoy FREE breakfast and giveaways at any of several locations around Tompkins County and on Cornell Campus from 7am -10am. Cornell University, Tetra Tech and Borgwarner are a few of the local employers promoting an active commute by hosting breakfast on-site. You too can bike to work and encourage others to Take the Challenge! For more fun, plan to meet friends and bike in together! 

It’s a Family Event! People of all ages are welcome. Learn tips from representatives of  Bike Walk Tompkins, Aids Ride For Life, Ithaca Carshare,  and others. Challenge yourself to visit all breakfast stations  for a chance to win a special prize! See map

In Celebration of National Bike Month, and part of the community-wide effort to improve conditions and awareness of bicycling as a viable means of transportation: a green, clean, healthy and beautiful way to get around.
