Join Dilmun Hill's Summer CSA Program!

Dilmun Hill is starting a summer CSA program that YOU can be part of...

The meaning of CSA: CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture, a business system that allows farmers and eaters to build a local food system based on trust, shared goals, and common values. Our CSA members become shareholders in the farm, and in return receive a share of the harvest, access to inside information about the farm, and member benefits. We provide organic locally-grown produce, and together we share in our commitment to the land, to local economies, and to environmental and agricultural education. When you visit the farm to pick up your produce, you will see it in action!

The Produce: Members pay at the start of the season for a share of the farm’s harvest, and pick up their vegetables once a week. The summer share will consist of 10 shares, or 10 weeks of vegetables, and will provide generously for smaller-sized household for the week. All our produce is organic and grown with best management practices, conserving our soil and water.

On Farm Pickup: Bring your bag to the farm to select your vegetables for the week. The fresh-harvested produce will be set up farmer’s market style, and we will be there to help you select your vegetables, answer questions, and carry your groceries. Don’t like radishes? Trade out for some more kale! (limits will be placed to keep share sizes standard, and on high-value items). The summer CSA season will run from June 17th to August 30th. Pickup will be on Wednesdays from 4-6PM on the farm.

Pricing: The price of a CSA summer share is $200 ($20/week). To sign up for a share, please email the farm managers at

Payment Options:A full payment is due before the start of the season. Cash or Check is accepted and is due by May 31st. Please make Checks out to “Dilmun Hill Student Organic Farm.” Checks can be delivered to Betsy Leonard in 147D Plant Science Building. If you are unable to do this, please contact the managers at
