EVTompkins, with the help of Energetics, NYSERDA, Cornell Transportation and Delivery Services, the Ithaca-Tompkins County Transportation Council, and other organizations recently installed 11 ChargePoint Electric Vehicle (EV) Stations across the Tompkins County.

The Forest Home Garage was selected as one of the 11 locations. It is a ChargePoint Level 2 EV Charging Station, and is located on the third floor of the garage.

The purpose of the event is to educate EV and others about the new ChargePoint EV Charger in the Forest Home Garage. In addition, the speakers will be talking about current news in Electric Vehicles (EVs) and the impact EVs will have on the transportation needs of commuters, visitors, and for Cornell University owned vehicles.
